In the good old days, choosing a place to eat was simple—what sounds good?
But let’s face it—those days are gone. Today, a restaurant choice is a tricky decision based upon more than just how wonderful it will taste. In a world where people now spend much of their time glued to mobile devices, we crave culinary concoctions that appeal to our visual side as well. Okay, not just ours, but those of our friends and followers too…

Cutter and Squidge:
Who doesn’t love guzzling down a cold, creamy milkshake? But Cutter & Squidge takes them to the next level—piling on whipped cream, a slathering of sauces, and an assortment of sugary toppings like cookies, brownies, marshmallow fluff, and even a sugar cone, all thrown together to create a towering jar of sugary splendor, with just the right amount of drip-age. You’ll love their cakes and afternoon tea as well.

Cereal Killer Café:
Cereal isn’t just for breakfast anymore. In fact, it has ascended to the esteemed rank of “dessert”, a fact which Brick Lane’s Cereal Killer Café has wasted no time in capitalizing upon. Though everyone loves a good bowl of cereal, the true showstoppers are their “stacked hot chocolates”, overflowing with chocolate sauce, a mound of whipped cream, and a sprinkling of candy pieces and cereal.

Kaspas Desserts:
Kaspas Desserts roughly translates to “Dessert Palace”. They only do dessert, and they do it extremely well—splendid sundaes, waffles, crepes, milkshakes, cakes…even half-baked cookie dough, all presented as beautifully as possible.

Said Chocolate Shop:
They say if chocolate were discovered today, it would be illegal. I don’t know if that’s true, but come on, is there anything more sinfully delicious than chocolate?
Said Chocolate Shop doesn’t think so, clearly evident by the amount of the scrumptious stuff on display behind their counter. In addition to their wide assortment of luxurious, bite-size chocolates, they’ll happily ladle three types of melted chocolate over strawberries, cakes, tarts, brownies, cookies, profiteroles, and more!

Chocofruit:
Speaking of melted chocolate, the Chocofruit stand at Brick Lane Market also recognizes its undeniable allure. They offer 3 types of melted Belgian chocolate, which are smothered over whole bananas, waffles, or colorful skewers of marshmallows and various fruit. Choose a side of sugary treats, and voila—the most awe-inspiring banana you’ve ever seen.

Bubblewrapwaffle:
Everyone loves waffles. But just wait until you’ve tried a bubble waffle; Better yet, a bubble waffle wrapped around an assortment of scrumptious fillings. Delicately chewy and simply delicious, you may never go back to regular waffles again. This picture-worthy treat started off in Hong Kong, but we’re thrilled that has spread to the rest of the world!
