As it turns out, I got a little carried away during my day 1 festivities.

(hard to believe, I know)

The hangover solution?

Good ‘ole Goulash

Berlin is truly a gold mine for delicious food.

Non-traditional currywurst

Döner!

This extremely popular Turkish food resembles a Greek Gyro, but with a larger variety of meats, veggies, sauces, & spices.

They are delicious.

Germany is basically a carb-Mecca.

Bakeries are EVERYWHERE.

Buns, loaves, croissants, pastries…all sorts of carby, salty, sweet deliciousness.

Anyways, I’m making myself hungry…back to Berlin’s sights.

Berlin Wall

Graffiti is big in Berlin, and the Berlin-ians view it as more of an art form than a stain on society.

Annnd I'm back in Portland...

Brandenburg Gate

Jewish Church

Reichstag

Museum Island

After a day of food & photos, it was time for more Oktoberfest-ing.

Berlin…I love you.

But, it’s time to explore more of Germany!

I’ll be back…
