London, London, London…I’d say I’ve spent much of my life dreaming about visiting this city. From Mary Poppins to Harry Potter, London has always seemed a magical place.

Of course, wandering around in the pouring rain searching for my hostel for 40 minutes was not the best introduction…nor were the absurd prices for transportation, food, and well…everything.

Luckily, day 2 was a sunny clear blue…perfect for wandering around and snapping away with my camera.

Big Ben & Palace of Westminster

Buckingham Palace (back)

Buckingham Palace

Friendly, fat squirrels at St James’ Park…gimme that peanut!!

Soho

Can I have a pair of these?

British Museum

Quite a day of tourist-ing!

Day 3 began with a trip to the Camden market

Mmmm…hot mulled wine…

This market is huge!

And tasty too!

Loved London.

Next…a return to Scotland!
